1. Pair up with a partner and correct Lesson 6. 
2. We will start work on Lesson 7 Files and Folders.  We will read through the handout, and you will complete that activities attached as well as the extra handout with the scenarios on it.  If you do not finish it in class, you have to complete by Monday.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Keep in mind that your Exam is on September 21.  We should be finished this unit by Wednesday, which will give you a lot of time to prepare.  No new content will be provided, but you will have another project given to you for the remainder of the week.   I will post the exam review on Wednesday and we will go over it in class.

Yesterday I asked you to start researching the different operating systems that are available.  You should have been able to locate Vista, Windows 7 and snow leopard.  Below is the presentation by Apple.  It outlines its new operating system.

1. Look over the course outline and go over my expectations of you in this class.
2. Go over the forms that you need to have your parents sign and bring back for TOMORROW!
3. Set up blogs.
4. Fill out the personal information form.  Click here to do so.
5. Start Lesson 1- Inner Hardware

IT IS OFFICIALLY THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.  24 more days to finish your shopping! Don’t forget we leave on the December 19, so you may want to buy my present earlier.  Here is what you are going to do today!

Typing Test-  Go to go to typingtest.com and complete a three minute timing on a text selection of your choice.  Complete your first one and then  go onto a second one. Make sure that you print your results each time.  When you are finished,  staple the two results together, put your names on them and place them in the black in-box on my desk.

Blogging- We are going to watch the following video Stand By Me.  Answer the following questions on your blog.

1. It is clear to see that technology plays a factor in our everyday lives.  Do you believe that technology can help people make a difference in the world?  Why or why not?
2. What does it mean to have someone stand by you?  Who would you trust?  What qualities would they need to have in order for you to fully trust and allow that person to ’stand by you’?

Storyboarding- You can continue to work on your storyboard.  If you are having issues finding ideas.  Refer back to the videos we watched in class.  YOU NEED TO HAVE THE STORYBOARD DONE BY THURSDAY.

Also, those who did not finish their assignments before the cut off on Friday, you need to come and see me ASAP!!!
